Insoddisfazione

Degradation, violence and dissatisfaction are the main themes of this short film. After witnessing the death of a pregnant woman, a boy sinks into a spiral of violence and loneliness from which he hopes to escape by resorting to violence first against others and then against himself. In order to make this short film I took inspiration from Takashi Miike's GRAVEYARD OF HONOR (2002). While silence and desolation correspond to the protagonist's inner emptiness, violence becomes the only way out of a state of perpetual dissatisfaction.
